From the originial album notes by Candy Lozier for Studio 4632:
Studio welcomes the first collaborative project from Glenn Sogge and Matt Getchell. Out Of The Nowhere is an excellent ambient/dark ambient/experimental ambient six track album.
Glenn Sogge and Bunny (Matt Getchell) originally connected via Soundcloud. Further involvement with the Portland (Oregon) Synth Improvisers Collective's monthly sound-togethers revealed some similarities in style and techniques that led to a formal collaboration. Although living in the same area, the work itself was done over that mainstay of musical collaboration today--the Internet.
About his work, Bunny writes, "as a listener I love those moments of bliss which help transcend or enhance the moment, where your attention is subverted and you close your eyes, sway, shimmer or shake; when you remain in the car despite having reached your destination to finish the song, or which enable one to drift, looking down at the clouds. This is what i would like to foster as a musician for others to find."
