This album is a group of remixes of Patricia Wolf's piece, "Cellular Chorus." "Cellular Chorus" is a wonderful interactive ice-breaker for gettogethers, concerts, or alone with multiple devices.

As Patricia's notes on the site, www.cellularchorus.com, say,
"Cellular Chorus is a work of spatialized aleatoric music using smartphones to bring people physically closer to have an interactive and collective experience with light and sound."

The materials were used as the basis for a Disquiet Junto project (#0426) and the first track here was my contribution to that. You can read about that at: disquiet.com/2020/02/27/disquiet-junto-project-0426-cellular-chorale/

It's been a joy to work with this material and hear Patricia perform over the last few years.

I don’t think there’s anything more captivating than when synths and strings fuse together into one exceptional piece of music (except maybe a sparse trumpet echoing in the background occasionally playing a few notes, but then that would be my bliss).
